Nathan was chosen as the Head Golf Professional & General Manager in 2007. Prior to helping open Lake Presidential, Nathan was the First Asssitant Golf Professional at Chevy Chase Club in Chevy Chase, MD. He is a member of the Middle Atlantic PGA Board of Directors as well as a member of Niike Golf's Swoosh Elite Advisory Staff. In addition to his responsibilites in running the facility, Nathan also enjoys Instruction/Coaching/Club Fitting and involvement in the media as a Golf Contributor for Comcast SportsNet. A graduate of Metodist University's Reeves School of Business, Nathan is also a fan of Notre Dame football, the Chicago Cubs and Washington Nationals and Capitals. Tom brings his experience from other Landmark Land Company projects, South Padre Island Golf Club (Laguna Vista, TX) and Meadowbrook Farms Golf Club (Houston, TX), to Lake Presidential Golf Club here in Maryland. A graduate of Michigan State University’s Turfgrass Management Program, Tom has been a course superintendent for nine years and became a Certified Golf Course Superintendent in 2005. Currently residing in Dunkirk, MD, Tom enjoys spending his free time with his family, wife Tracy, and sons, James and Ben. His enjoyment of the golf business comes from the opportunity to work outdoors everyday and managing his staff to adjust to the varying weather conditions that present day-to-day challenges in providing a consistent golf course to our golfers at Lake Presidential.

Alex was promoted to 1st Assistant in April, 2011. Alex graduated from the PGM Program at Methodist University in 2006 and gained his PGA membership in 2007. Alex served as an Assistant at Lowes Island Club in Va., for 2 years. His previous employment includes Cherry Valley Country Club (Princeton, NJ), Trump National Golf Club (Bedminster, NJ), and Chevy Chase Club in MD. Alex will be instrumental in tournament operations, golf shop operations, teaching, and the junior golf program at Lake Presidential. Alex has worked at four PGA Tour events, enhancing his tournament operations experience. Alex likes spending time with his friends and watching the Philadelphia Eagles in his spare time.

Nick earned his Class A PGA Card in May 2011. Nick attended Coastal Carolina University and Penn State University where he specialized in the Professional Golf Management Program. Nick joins the Lake Presidential staff from Fredericksburg Country Club in Virginia. Nick has worked at South Hills Golf Club, Hanover, Pa., and Timber Ridge Golf Club in Mount Pleasant, Pa., where he holds the Club Record of 66. Nick will be instrumental in helping with golf shop operations, assisting with tournaments, and assuring guests at Lake Presidential have an enjoyable time while at the course. Nick grew up in Hanover, Pa., and attended Delone Catholic High School. He actively follows the Capitals, Manchester United, Cowboys, Orioles, Nittany Lions, and the Blue Devils. He also enjoys spirited competition.

As our Sales and Event Coordinator, Julia brings her enthusiasm for helping our guests plan an event their friends and family won’t be able to stop talking about! She has several years of Event Sales & Management experience as well as extensive Food and Beverage experience. Julia holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and various hospitality certificates. Julia lives in Annapolis with her husband and three children. She loves to run, read, and take trips with her family when she isn’t selling and planning events at Lake Presidential!

Damon has immersed himself completely in the process of gathering knowledge and acquiring all the skills necessary to be an outstanding teacher for the past 13 years. Now he has a range of technologies to support and enhance that knowledge, highlighted by the Taylor Made MATT system and Performance Lab, a 3-D Motion Capture system that helps analyze your golf game with more precision and a greater EASE of understanding for ALL levels of golfer. Complementing the MATT system, he utilizes high speed video and V1 software, the Maryland Puttingzone, and an assortment of training aids and learning techniques derived from Damon's experiences with the Australian Institute of Sport as well as other high performance academies from around the world. In creating the Institute at Lake Presidential, he has built a facility that examines and facilitates learning in every aspect of golf instruction and clubfitting. Jevon comes to Lake Presidential from Landmark Land Company. She has been a member of the Accounting and Financial team there for the nine years. She brings her experience of working with their Project Staff members at: Meadowbrook Farm (Katy, Texas), The Oaks (Gulfport, MS) South Padre Island Golf Club (Laguna Vista, Texas), Palmas del Mar (Puerto Rico), Apes Hill Club (Barbados) and Landmark of Spain (Arcos & Seville). She will be responsible for accounting, financial and information systems matters for the golf course and clubhouse restaurant in support of the success of Lake Presidential, a premier golf club. In addition to graduate classes from Loyola, Chicago and the University of NH, Jevon has her BA in Education from St. Mary-of-the-Woods, in Terre Haute, Indiana. She moved from Exeter, New Hampshire; where she raised her children, “two sets of twins and a spare,” to Crofton, Maryland in 1999. She remains an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
